After three days of excellent competition, the 29th Annual Track City International Classic has come to a close.  Even with the record breaking heat we had no reports of any major heat related issues with any of the athletes.  Once again the "Classic" organizing committee would again like to say 'Thank You' to every one of the athletes, coaches and parents who attended this year's meet.  Everyone at the Track City Track Club would also like to say it was an honor and a pleasure for us to be able to put this fine meet on again for you.  We would also like to thank all of the meet officials and volunteers who volunteered their valuable time. You all braved the scorching heat to help us pull this meet off this again.  We are all indebted to you.  Without all of you, we would not be able to keep this meet going year after year.

The "Classic" committee will be in discussions shortly as to what our options are for next year and as soon as we make a decision on what we are going to do we will post that information on the trackcity.org website.

We wish you all well in the coming year. For those of you who are now heading to this year's National Junior Olympics meet in Baltimore, Maryland, we at the Track City Track Club would like to wish you the best of luck. Take care and we will see everyone again soon.
