The
2008 Track & Field season begins on Monday, March 31st
and runs through July 9th just
prior to the Region XII Track & Field Championships
except for club
athletes who qualify for the USATF National Junior Olympic
Track & Field Championships.
All track practices, as well as some short athlete
and parent meetings, are held at the Sheldon
Track at Sheldon High School located at 2455 Willakenzie
Road in Eugene, Oregon. Practices
are held Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00
p.m.
The best access to the track & field facility for dropping
off and picking up your athletes is at the corner of Marlow
Lane and Norwood Street. Be aware
that parking is limited in this area.

2008
Cross Country Practice
The
2008 cross country (XC) season begins
Tuesday, September 2nd and continues through November 13th just
prior to the Region XII Cross Country Championships except for
club athletes who qualify for the USATF National Junior Olympic
Cross
Country
(XC) Championships. All
cross country practices are held at the Alton Baker Park located
off of Martin Luther King Blvd. and Club Road in Eugene, Oregon.
Practices are held Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:30
PM. Practices will move to a location yet to be determined after
the end of Daylight Savings Time.
The
coaches
will meet all athletes at the west parking lot off of Day Island
Road.
